Das Buch definiert und zeigt Hindernisse der Selbstentfaltung, um sie aus dem Weg zu räumen. Auf klare Fragestellungen wie "Was ist Erleuchtung?" oder "Was kommt nach der Selbstenfaltung?" gibt es ebenso klare Antworten, die durchscheinen lassen, dass Peter Lauster nicht irgendwo abschreibt, sondern ganz genau weiß, was er da schreibt und warum er es tut. Der Diskurs wird ergänzt durch Fallbespiele aus der Praxis des Psychologen. Es ist ein altes Buch, aber das heißt nicht, dass es an Aktualität verloren hat. Im Gegenteil. Peter Lauster beschreibt in seinem Sachbuch Lebenskunst – Wege zur inneren Freiheit mit klaren Gedanken und schnörkellos strukturiert Klartext. Der studierte Psychologe untergräbt das bewährte und sichere Gedankenkonstrukt unserer oberflächlichen Identität mit zielstrebiger Sicherheit und lässt das Kartenhaus einstürzen. Nicht um uns zu schaden, sondern um den Blick frei zu machen für das Wesentliche und die wahre Tiefe unserer Existenz. Manchmal passiert das auch mit einer gewissen Autorität, aber immer freundschaftlich. Lauster gibt an manchen Punkten offen zu, dass es nicht seine Aufgabe oder Verantwortung ist, oder er nicht für uns entscheiden kann, will oder darf. Er gibt den Staffelstab ganz klar an uns. Die Verantwortung für unsere Unfreiheit ist bei uns selbst zu suchen. Das klingt erschreckend einfach. Dabei lässt er uns nicht mit einem Scherbenhaufen und in Angst zurück. Er reicht uns die Hand, zeigt wie es perspektivisch möglich ist mutigen Schrittes voranzugehen und er zeigt Wege in ein neues, freies Ich. Was haben sich die Menschen geschämt, wenn man etwas nicht erklären konnte. Und sie tun es heute noch. Egal ob es Schutzengel sind, Telepathie oder einfach nur das Gefühl, dass es da etwas gibt, was über unseren Verstand hinaus geht. Es existiert.

Inhalt

Die vergangenen Jahrhunderte der westlichen Gesellschaft sind maßgeblich geprägt von rein wissenschaftlichem Denken. Wenn etwas nicht beweisbar ist, dann gilt es als nicht-existent.
Dagegen geht nun ein anerkannter Wissenschaftler vor und behauptet: Es existiert. Der Titel des Buches des renommierten Mediziners und Theologen Prof. Dr. Dr. Johannes Huber ist knapp und bringt es auf den Punkt. Genau so ist auch das Buch gestrickt. Es hinterfragt eingebrannte Esoterik-Schubladen aufgrund aktueller wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse vorzugsweise mit Fokus auf Genetik, Stoffwechsel und Verhaltenspsychologie. Dabei gelingt Huber ein spannender Abriss mit Perspektive auf die kommenden hundert Jahre und dem darin zu erwartenden Lebenswandel und die Auswirkungen auf die Physis und Psyche des Menschen.

Meinung

Das Buch ist glaubwürdig, nicht zuletzt, weil Huber sowohl in Theologie, als auch Medizin promoviert und so zurecht als Wissenschaftler spricht. Der Fokus liegt jedoch definitiv auf einem unterhaltenden Aspekt. Auch darüber hinaus zeigt sich Huber als Mensch und Visionär, der dazu motiviert hinter die Kulissen der Natur zu schauen und ganzheitliche, teils komplexe Zusammenhänge anschaulich und mit klaren und präzisen Gedanken und Formulierungen zu transportieren. Manchmal ist in der Argumentation für einen Wissenschaftler etwas oberflächlich gearbeitet worden, was aber auch damit zu tun hat, dass wir uns bei diesem Thema im Moment genau dort befinden. An der Oberfläche. Im Großen und Ganzen bleibt aber vor allem Hubers Empfehlung die Scheuklappen abzulegen und sich selbst und bekannte Konzepte in Frage zu stellen beim Leser hängen.

Wie man den musikalischen Wert seiner Stereoanlage vervielfacht

Bevor man darüber nachdenkt neue Lautsprecher zu kaufen, oder in einen teuren neuen Verstärker zu investieren, weil man der Meinung ist die Qualität der Wiedergabe der heimischen Stereoanlage sei unzureichend oder nicht befriedigend, sollte man sich neben elektroakustischen Überlegungen vor Augen halten, was das schwächste Glied der Kette darstellt. In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten wurde viel Musik auf Vinyl produziert, danach kam die digitale Revolution in Form von hoch brillanten CDs, welche wiederum von rein digitalen, aber verlustbehafteten Medien wie zum Beispiel MP3 größtenteils ersetzt wurde. Was im ersten Moment damals wie die eierlegende Wollmilchsau erschien, ist jedoch mittlerweile zu einem Geist geworden, den man rief und nun nicht wieder los wird. Die aktuellen Verkaufszahlen belegen, dass gerade einmal noch ca. 10% des klassischen Musikvertriebs aus CDs und physischen Medien besteht. Der Rest ist mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit ein komprimiertes Datenformat in Form von MP3 oder AAC. Auch die beliebten Streaminganbieter verlassen sich in der Regel auf verlustbehaftete Kompression, weil sie natürlich Bandbreite sparen wollen und bei gleicher technischer Leistung dadurch mehr Kunden beschicken, also mehr Geld verdienen können. Man sollte sich an dieser Stelle also selbst einmal auf die Finger schauen was man klickt, bevor man es hört und die Schuld womöglich dann bei der Stereoanlage sucht. Ein mehrere tausend Euro teures Setup bietet am Schluss nämlich auch nur so viel Qualität, wie die Musik die man darüber abspielt. MP3 und verlustbehaftetes Streaming mag für Küchenradios oder den Ghettoblaster im Park ausreichend sein und hat eine Zeit lang auch seine Berechtigung gehabt, da man auf Grund von Speichermangel gerne mehr als ein oder zwei Alben auf seinem Abspielgerät speichern wollte und es nicht konnte. Die heutigen Kapazitäten von Speichermedien relativieren die Begründung der Datenreduktion jedoch sofort. Mittlerweile sind mehrere Gigabyte in mobilen Geräten und nicht selten mehrere Terabyte in stationären Abspielgeräten Gang und Gäbe und hier noch mit Datenreduktion eine Sammelwut zu rechtfertigen, die dem Verhalten einer Nachkriegsgeneration in Nichts nachsteht, ist fast schon ein wenig größenwahnsinnig und erinnert eher an festgefahrene Verhaltensmuster. Die Begründung man bräuchte unbedingt 10.000 Titel stark komprimierter Musik auf einem mobilen Gerät mit einem Speicherchip der Größe einer 1-Cent-Münze erschließt sich mir nicht. Es wird weder der inspirierenden und emotionalen Qualität der Musiker, noch deren Mühen gerecht, die sie sich bei der harten Erarbeitung ihrer Musik damit gemacht haben. Dabei sind 10.000 Titel bei einer Datengröße von durchschnittlich 3 Megabyte pro Song gerade mal 29,3 Gigabyte groß. Jedes zweite Tablet oder Smartphone oder jedes beliebige andere Smart-Device hat mittlerweile mehr als doppelt so viel Kapazität. Großzügige Cloud-Dienste wachsen wie Pilze aus dem Boden. Notebooks bieten wie selbstverständlich Terabytes zum Mitnehmen. Von klassischen stationären Festplatten und Network Attached Storage im Heimnetzwerk wollen wir noch nicht mal reden. Der Archivierung von 10.000 Titeln in unkomprimierter Form steht also prinzipiell nichts mehr im Wege. Warum machen es dann so wenige? Die meisten verlassen sich dann wohl doch lieber auf Spotify & Co. Doch dass sich im Streamingmarkt in absehbarer Zeit ein HD-Anbieter etabliert, ist nicht in Sicht. Komischerweise ist uns die Größe und Datenrate einer Filmdatei auf einmal egal, sobald wir wissen, dass es sich um HD oder 4K-Material handelt. In Anbetracht der "digitalen Revolution 2.0" sollten wir uns also die Frage stellen, ob es noch zeitgemäß ist, die heimische Musikbibliothek in dieser stark datenreduzierten Fraunhofer-Form zu konservieren. Man muss ja nicht gleich die hoch aufgelöste Studio-Masterversion in 24Bit/192kHz all seiner Titel kaufen, aber ein wenig mehr CD-Qualität - auch ohne physisches Medium - kann unseren Ohren wohl kaum schaden. Noch dazu, oder vielleicht auch gerade deshalb, weil es näher an dem ist, was sich der Musiker einst mal im Studio dabei gedacht hat.
